How To Access The NDIS

Key takeaway: follow the instructions below to enrol in the NDIS to get your NDIS number. Once we have your NDIS number, we can help you with the rest!

To register, you must me under 65 years old, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and need assistance with an ongoing disability.

You can check your eligibility here.

Step 2

NDIS will contact you.

When they contact you, they will arrange a simple meeting. In this meeting you and the NDIS will talk about your treatment, what you need, and create a plan.

Don’t worry, this is before you’ve seen an Allied Health Professional, so you’re not expected to know everything.

Step 3

Get in touch with Therapy Tracks.

You can contact us by phone or email. This initial contact is usually to make your first appointment with us, but if you have any questions about your treatment, you’re welcome to ask.

Make sure to have your NDIS number with you when you contact us.

Step 4

Get assessed at one of our clinics.

You can book into a community based clinic in Central Australia or Broome or visit one of our clinics in Broome.

After you’re assessed we’ll apply for funding from the NDIS for you.

Step 5

Your funding application is assessed by the NDIS.

In most cases they’ll grant funding, but sometimes we need to make changes.

Don’t worry, this is something that we do for you. We’ll keep you notified of how it’s going.
